Peterborough Yoga Festival ~ See you ~ June, 2018 ~ Del Crary Park

Peterborough Yoga Festival Vendor Information

Update May 17, 2017 - We are now at capacity for vendors, thank you!!

Greetings! We so appreciate your interest in becoming a vendor with the Peterborough Yoga Festival. Our focus is to feature businesses who offer local, ethical, vegetarian and eco-friendly goods and services. As our festival is fully run by volunteers and aims to raise funds for yoga, mindfulness and healthy living programs - through the United Way Strong Communities program - we are asking our vendors to support us in our efforts.

Non-food vendors are $60 per 10'x10' space and are asked to contribute an item for our silent auction with a retail value of $30-$50.

Food vendors are $110 per 10'x10' space and are asked to supply 5 meals for our festival volunteers.

Not for profit and charitable organizations are welcome to set up a booth free of charge.

UPDATE: (March 12, 2017) We have received an amazing response to our call out for vendors. To ensure we can provide lots of variety for our attendees and fairness for our vendors, we have decided to limit each similar type of vendor to 5 (ie. 5 yoga legging vendors, 5 reiki practitioner vendors etc.). We are currently at capacity for SOAP and PRAYER BEAD JEWELLERY vendors. If you have these items, we welcome you to still apply to be on our waiting list. Other types of spaces are filling up fast so please don't delay in submitting your application! :)

Below are some guidelines we will be instituting this year to ensure a seamless day for all.

  1. Please ensure you have a canopy/tent for your booth. Last year was very hot and there was no shade to be found except under a canopy. We don’t mean for this to be financially burdensome but your health and safety is important to us! (Canadian Tire run a sale in the early spring of reasonable canopy/tents for approximately $40).

  2. We will create a VENDOR MAP to assist you in determining your place in the Yogic Market. You will be assigned a site number and this will be spray painted, in a very radiant colour, on your space with guidance lines for your tent. We will have a number of volunteers to help direct you to your site.

  3. This year we will will try to facilitate the setting up of booths by establishing unloading zones and will require that you have your booth set up by 8 am.

  4. To ease the challenges involved in breaking down your booth we ask that you do not begin to take down till the end of the festival at 7 p.m. Like set up, we will have loading zones to facilitate this process.

  5. Parking is very limited but there is street parking available.

  6. All canopies must be weighted down. We recommend 20 lbs per leg. No spikes may be used but water-filled jugs, sandbags or cement blocks are all options. Last year, the occasional breeze off of the lake resulted in a few flying canopies.

  7. Please do not drive on the grass. Mother Nature and Del Crary are not fans of your tires! We will help by giving you great alternatives.

  8. Please bring a good supply of water to last you the day! You will need to be properly hydrated to keep up with the crowd.

  9. Each vendor is permitted one assistant at their booth. If more assistants are required to help, we ask that you pay an admission fee for them at the gate or online.

Thank you for reading through the guidelines. Next step, please fill out the following form to introduce yourself and your business.
